What Collage Maker does

Collage Maker arranges several pictures into one. Choose up to twelve images, put them in the order you want, pick an arrangement, and the composition is drawn onto a canvas in this browser at the width you set.

The preview is not a mock-up of the result: it is the result, drawn at full size and shown smaller. What you download is the same drawing encoded as JPEG, PNG, or WebP.

When one picture beats several

Reach for it when the destination only takes one image: a listing that allows a single photograph, a message thread you do not want to send six pictures to, a before-and-after that only makes sense side by side.

It is a composition Gizlet rather than a document one. If what you want is several pictures kept separate but sent together, put them in a PDF instead — that keeps each one whole, on its own page, at its own size.

What each setting changes

Four settings decide the whole composition, and the order of the list decides the rest.

Layout

Grid puts them in as square a block as the count allows, so four images make two rows of two. Single row and single column are the strip arrangements. Feature gives the first image two thirds of the width and stacks the others beside it, which is the arrangement for one photograph with supporting ones.

Order

Cells are filled in the order the list shows, so moving an image up moves it up in the collage. It matters most in the feature layout, where the first image is the large one.

Gap and background

The gap is the space between cells and around the edge, in output pixels, and the background colour is what shows through it. A gap of zero makes the pictures touch, and the background then shows nowhere.

Width and format

The width is the finished picture’s, and the layout works out the height from it, so a taller arrangement makes a taller file rather than a squashed one. JPEG suits photographs, WebP is the smallest for the web, and PNG keeps every pixel exactly.

Every picture stays in the tab

The images are decoded, arranged, and drawn onto one canvas by this browser, and the finished collage is handed straight to your downloads. Gizlet is a static site with no upload endpoint, so there is nowhere for a photograph to be sent, and nothing survives closing the tab.

Because the result is drawn fresh onto a canvas, it carries none of the metadata the originals did — no camera model, no timestamps, and no GPS coordinates from any of them.
